August self portrait a day: denouement.

That means the end.
Okay so I sort of fell off the updating bandwagon.
However! I think this next thing is pretty cool.
August sucked.
Sorry. It did.
I royally F'd myself up in August.
BUT
I also made a commitment to my art and stuck to it.
August 2012 can blow me.
I beat you.
Sucka.
This thing has that whole being more than a sum of it's parts going for it i think.
If that makes sense.
In english.
Sometimes I only speak picture.
Also: I am seriously morose in most of these.
Damn.
Smiles are fucking hard to draw though.
So there's that.

I don't have a great history with thing a day plans but... damnit.

Ok. There's no actual trickery involved.
I just thought it was a catchy title.

Artist Trading Cards

Ok. I'm a huge collecting nerd. Coins? did it. Stamps? yup. Comics? Stickers? My Little Ponies? Shoes? State commemerative plates? guilty.

My favorite thing of all to collect though?
Art.
The internet has made it so easy to find and buy affordable art.
Heaven!
But... I can't afford all the art I want!
What's a greedy lass to do?
Trade!
Yessssssss.

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) are tiny pieces of art the same size as a deck of poker cards.
Awesome.

Here's some I made:

Sunday on Tuesday: Last week got away from me.

Whew. Last week was a doozy.
I finally took my motorcycle safety course!
Anyone out there who is thinking about it:
Do it.
I lucked out and both my instructor and my fellow students were badasses.
Good times.
The only photos I managed to take are from the Vintage Motorcycle Show on Sunday.
And my own vintage but decidedly un-showworthy bike.
Oh, and a gratuitous shot of Grizzly Bear demonstrating how I felt at the end of the week.
